Move for Martell

On March 7th 2021, the inaugural Move For Martell: Walk/Skate/Bike will raise funds for the T.J. Martell Foundation, a foundation based on raising money for cancer research started by a father on behalf of his late son.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was started in 1974 when Tony Martell, a music executive promised his son, T.J., who was dying of leukemia, that he would raise $1 million so other kids with his condition would not have to endure all the pain and suffering he had to.
My name is Elijah Leano, and my entire family has been very fond of music our whole lives. I play drums, piano, and bass guitar, and in a former life, I even sang in professional theatre productions. In fact, my father was once in a band, as am I. Music is a great outlet for expression, relaxation, and more, which is why I believe this is the perfect foundation. On March 7th, 2021, I am planning a "walk/skate/bike-athon" on the Village Green on Key Biscayne, Florida, where I will host a 26 mile marathon where you can join me with either wheels, skates, or your two feet! You can pledge for every mile, or every hour, or however you want to. I am also planning some other events and will have some "incentive programs" that I hope you all like and will encourage everyone to donate to this great cause!
