<div>We have been working tirelessly with the family of a BIPOC, transgender teenager who has experienced a lifetime of racism, transphobia, and bullying in a local rural community. While we have tried to make inroads in the local school, change is not coming fast enough to keep this young person safe.

<div>We have identified an opportunity for this family to purchase a home in the Ithaca City School District. Thanks to the generous support of <a href="http://www.alternatives.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Alternatives Federal Credit Union</a> , we are halfway to our goal of raising $40,000 to make this relocation a reality.
