Mount of Olive Ministry serves a congregation of predominantly refugees families from Africa.

Mount Olives Ministry’s opened its doors in 2014 and has been operating in USA, Congo and Tanzania. The Church has done tremendous work by reaching out to communities and families using both cyberchurch approach, enforcement of local Christians worships (in different states and nations) as well as international gathering done once a year.  Truly “the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and good news is preached to the poor…Mathew 11:5”.

Churches and Evangelism is still going through tremendous challenges in certain places and parts of the world. However, servants of God and churches are using modern information communication technologies to reach out to people of all nations and communities from around the World using different languages that would have been not possible otherwise.

Mount Olives Ministry’s primary focus is winning souls for Jesus Christ, building the body Christ and bringing Healing to people and community. Since its beginning, this ministry has won many souls to Christ. This primarily virtual Ministry headquartered in Saint Louis/Missouri has seen its membership increasing now reaching several hundreds of extremely committed and Spirit filled Christians from more than 20 Nations. What makes this ministry unique is that most of believers come from minority communities spread out in US and Canada. Most of them also speak English as a second language.

Leadership

Mount Olive Misinistry is headed by Rev. Anna Nyassa. Reverend Anna NYASSA was born on December 26, 1966 at Bujumbura / Burundi. She was raised in a Christian family. Her father Rajabu Samuel was a Pastor of the Free Methodist Church for many years, her mother Lucie Mawazo was a committed Christian.

Rev Anna NYASSA had a normal childhood. She likes sport and played basketball. She wanted to be a nurse and went to pursue a nursing course at Uvira/DRCongo. Her calling started through rough times. It was in a nursing classroom where Rev Anna fainted and was diagnosed with an appendicitis. Although it was a simple surgical procedure, it lasted many hours. Her recovery was not easy, she ended up being paralyzed for one and half year. It is during the medical procedure that Rev Anna received a revelation and her mission. Due to health problems, her family brought her to a prayer chamber where she was delivered and was baptized by the Holy Spirit. It is during this moment that she really drew closer to God and she got God’s mission and revelation. God gave her a three folds’ mission which is:
a)    Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ (per Great Commission of Mathew 28:18-20)

b)   Open Churches and chapels

c)    Pray for the sick, comfort the afflicted ones and those in needs (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Since Rev Anna NYASSA calling back in 1985 while living in her country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). She has brought thousands to the Lord Jesus Christ. She opened two churches in her native town of Uvira and two churches in Kigoma/ Tanzania. As mentioned above, she has the gift of healing. She prays for the sick and they are healed. She has the gifts of preaching the Gospel and healing. She spends her time in prayer, meditation and preaching the World of God. She is committed full time to serve Lord Jesus Christ.

2.     Challenges and Partnership needs.

Mt Olive Ministry congregation is comprised of more than 85% refugees and most of them are still struggling to settle. The number of our Sunday Service attendance has now outgrown the size of our current meeting space.
With many families with small kids and youth, we would like a space where they can have a separate room for Sunday school classes and activities. We have identified a church not far from our currently location and the owners are willing to sell to us. We have been given up to April 30th, 2018 to come up with $300,000 for the initial deposit. The balance will be spread out for a period of 10 years.
Mount Olives is currently seeking funding from friends and well-wishers to make this dream come true. We would appreciate your financial support to enable us acquire a building for worship.
Please consider giving your tax deductible donation of  , $30,   $50, $100, $500, $1000 or any amount.
