Mountmellick Christmas Street Lights

Our Commmittee looks after the Christmas Street Lights. It takes approx 4,000 bulbs to light up Mountmellick and each year we try to make improvements to add some Christmas cheer to the town.
Our little town deserves to be bright and cheerful this Festive season.
Over the years we have received generous donations from local businesses & members of the community through our Annual Church Gate & Street Collections, all of which helps us cover the upkeep & running costs of the Street Lights. Last years total costs were €8,315
As we can’t have our usual fundraisers, we have set up this Go Fund Me Page to ensure we can keep our town shining brightly this Christmas. We are hoping to add lots more colour to the town this year and are asking you for €5 to Sponsor a Coloured Bulb. We intend on mappinng out the area of the town where the coloured bulbs will be lit, so watch this space!
