The owners of Mountainside Market are very proud to have been chosen as the new curators of Mt. Wachusett's Superintendent's House. As curators, we are in the throes of restoring this exquisite location that has been abandoned for the last 50 years. We are excited to bring this historically significant building back to its glory and are eager to share it soon with our community.
Taking on this curatorship is truly a labor of love. While we expect to complete renovations of the first floor of this building by Spring 2019, there are many other areas to address. As we look to move our specialty Bakery & Cafe into this newly renovated space, we could use some help getting ready for our Grand Opening in late Spring!
Having additional support from our local community and friends, would allow us the capacity to offer greater services, resources and hospitality to all visitors to the area. Our intention in taking on this project, is to create a unique and meaningful destination to visit for decades to come. Creating new memories, treating people to something special and breathing new life into a grand old building motivates our efforts and keeps us energized to make this spot one-of-a-kind. We welcome any support or help with our endeavors!
Your donations will allow us to build a comfortable space and purchase the things we still need. We welcome supporters on every level from Mountainside Donor benefactors to smaller gifts that will allow us to buy all the extras.
