Mountain Mike Memorial Fund

Mike Rule embodied kindness, compassion and adventure. He took a firm stance in this world that is very difficult to maintain: optimism. We honor his optimism by continuing to spread positive ripples throughout this world.
Mike knew the value of a week at summer camp, and the friendships and community that can be found there. This fund was created to do three things:
1. Send campers to camp who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
2. Buy specific items for camps that will enrich the experience for those who attend. (Mike loved to help fulfill items on camp wish lists.)
3. Put Aldo Leopold benches in beautiful places, including (at least) one at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp and one at YMCA Camp Benson.
With high hopes, we look forward to honoring and celebrating Mike's life with all of you in the near, virus-free future.
