But with three children sharing one tiny room, another two on a pullout couch, and an infant sharing the parents' room, the family is living in a very difficult situation. The structure is in need of major repairs, nearly every item in the home is secondhand, and the family lives without air conditioning or heat.
Because they are determined to maintain a Jewish presence on the mountain, the family's only options are to either continue living in their current conditions or to renovate and expand their home. They currently need $17,000 to create a long-term dignified living situation but despite both parents working a total of three jobs, they are unable to afford this. Every dollar donated will help this family improve their living situation.
