Mount Everest Base Camp for Stand By Me

Hey guys,
For those who know me well, know that it has been a dream for me to trek Mt Everest Base camp. So here I am, hoping to accomplish that dream in May 2019. I will be doing a 13 day challenging trek up in the Himalayas to base of the world's highest mountain, reaching a height of 5360m.
As rewarding as this will be, I wanted to raise money for children who are living in much less privileged places, who are orphaned, who have very little access to needs which we often take for granted, who would love to be able to go to school to learn and become what they have always dreamed of becoming, who needs the support from those who have a heart to give, and who just needs someone to believe in them and give them that glimpse of hope that the world can be a better place despite the struggles they are facing. And Stand By Me is a children's centered charity based in the UK who does just that, through helping children in various developing parts of the world by providing education, healthcare, homes and other forms of support.

My whole trip is self funded, and any money raised will solely go to Stand By Me. 'We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone' So stand by me to help make this possible, and transform the life of even atleast one child.
