Hi, my name is Kevin Potter, and I am asking if you will support me in raising money for the anti-human trafficking work of Oasis India.
My family and I used to live in India. Indeed our daughter was born in Mumbai and we have intimate knowledge of the work of Oasis India and personal relationships with the great staff who undertake this work. We are, therefore, deeply aware of the commitment and the enormous cost that the Oasis India team are giving to bring freedom, restoration and a future to the boys, girls and young women who are impacted by this evil. Between October 27th and November 3rd, I will join with various individuals both from outside and within the country that will be traveling up the West Coast of India on the 2nd Mukti Bike Rally. The first rally occurred in 2017, and there is a link below that shows some of the 2017 highlights. Our journey is intended to both raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking that occurs along this significant trafficking route and build financial support and resources to help support the work of Oasis India.
The team will consist of two groups. One group, of about 12 people, will be riding Enfield Bullets between Bengaluru and Mumbai raising money to support the work amongst people who are trapped in human trafficking. The second group will consist of a creative street theatre team who will undertake anti-human trafficking presentations at the various places along the route.
I would invite you to support me in raising £4000.
All the monies raised will go towards the work of the Oasis India teams as they journey alongside, support and engage with vulnerable people who are caught in situations of trafficking and as they help survivors of human trafficking develop sustainable futures.
Recently I was notified that an Indian company has agreed to match fund some of the monies raised. I would encourage you and invite you to join in and support this venture and help the Oasis India team.
