Crit happens...Let's Help Support Matthew!

Matthew Smith is a 17-year-old boy with the whole world in front of him. What started out a few weeks ago as a small lump he got checked out has turned into a scary journey to defeat a malignant germ cell tumor. Over the next few months, he and his family will be traveling back and forth from Camp Lejeune to Duke to receive his chemotherapy and other treatments. This is a 3-hour trip each way, and they will be there for 5 days at a time for Matthew's chemotherapy.  While a lot of this will be covered, there are several things that will not be, and we are raising some money to help offset any extraneous costs for them. In a stressful time like this money is the last thing the Smith family should be stressing over! Healing is all they should be focusing on. They do not know about this so let's keep it a surprise please until we are able to give them the cushion.
