Dear prospective Donor,
Hello my name is Debra Ramon I am 52 years old. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1995 when I was 32 years old. As of today I have Secondary Progressive MS with Quadrapaligia.
I am unable to maintain a independent life style with out the help of a service dog and home health aides.
My quality of living has been greatly enhanced by my current service dog Nils, he has been a blessing.
I am writing on behalf of myself. It's that time again when I need to buy a new dog,to train as a service dog.
My current service dog Nils is 9 and I would like to retire him soon. Before I can do that I need him to guide the new puppy into becoming my new service dog. Training can take up to 2 1/2 years.
I am looking to raise funds in order to Purchase a puppy for him to guide.
For all those worried, Nils will be a permant fixture in our home, but just as a pet.
Perspective donor, I need your help with my upcoming procuring of a new lab pup to benefit my ability to maintain a sense of independence.
My goal is $1,500
Normally at this time of the year, I would be asking for donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for the annual MS Walk, however this year I am asking for donations for my new service dog.
