For A Caring Brother!

Hi, My name is Tiffany.  May 15, 2014 after leaving work I received a phone call that would forever change my family lives. My brother Robert had fallen asleep behind the wheel of his car on the way home from work. The car flipped, split a power pole in half and landed upside down in a ditch. He was not responding.  When we arrived at Atlanta Medical Center my brother was already in surgery. We would later find out he had fractured C5 of his spine and there was fluid on his lower spine. The surgery went well and we will be forever grateful to the surgeons that saved my brother's life. But our worse fears were confirmed my brother was now paralyzed from the neck down. Robert spent one month at Atlanta Medical Center and to make matters worse our mom had a major heart attack. We thank God she experienced her chest pain right as she was visiting my brother in ther hospital. So she checked herself into the ER. They were literally two rooms away from each other in Cardiac ICU. Robert was later transported to Shepherd Medical Center where he completed some intensive therapy for a month. Robert was 21 when the accident happened. Vibrant, full of life, with a great job and a newborn son who's now a very busy but happy 1 year old. Robert is home now. He requires a nurse 24/7. His insurance is not covering everything. Medicad has denied him and medical bills are stacked to the ceiling. The accident has affected everyone mentally, physically and emotionally. I'm reaching out to everyone that can help us financially or if you have knowledge of agencies that can even help us out with his medical supplies, transportation by him being in a wheelchair and we most definitely need your prayers. We are not a family that normally ask for handouts.
