<div>i'm mikaela de la myco and i act as a mushwomb educator, a mother, a community organizer, a researcher and resourcer of psychedelic families

<div>three years ago, we released the <a href="https://www.mushwomb.love/earth-medicine-motherhood-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">entheogenic earth medicine assisted motherhood guide</a>, a compassionate resource for psychedelic families

<div>and now, people have been walking this path and the world deserves to know:

<div><strong>ORIGINS OF THE PROJECT </strong>

<div>as providers, we have found tremendous benefit in helping women &amp; birthing people improve their pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience with psilocybin mushrooms

<div>with guidance and initial inspiration from James Fadiman through through The Microdosing Institute, Naomi Tolson, known as <a href="https://www.thepsychedelicdoula.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the psychedelic doula</a> and I, Mikaela de la Myco, creator of <a href="https://www.mushwomb.love/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the mushWOMB</a> , organized a survey to study what so many of us have been trying to get a finger on around mushrooms and motherhood

<div>the mothers of the mushroom survey was born to help make a measurable change in the narrative that psilocybin during pre-conception, pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum causes harm, is not beneficial and should be largely avoided

<div>to conduct a citizen science research project by surveying mothers and birthing people who consumed psilocybin mushrooms throughout their motherhood (pre-conception, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum) and parenting journey in order to accumulate a body of evidence for effects of psilocybin on birthing people, women and their children

<div>knowing more about why birthing people choose psilocybin during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum and what were the results of that choice will help mothers and families for generations to come

<div>to provide open-source, helpful and community-driven data for a seldom studied area in psychedelic research: mushrooms and mothers.
