Mother's car damaged by McGill student

"I am a habitant of one of the Milton Parc housing cooperatives. I live on Milton, a few meters from Park ave., which is a main corridor McGill students use to get to and from home/classes during the day, but also for night life activities.
We would like to mention that we highly appreciated the proactiveness of the student representatives who provided a contact number in case of disruption from students this year.
Many students, especially on their way back home from drinking -- predominantly friday's and Saturday, are often under the influence and lack consideration for people living in the area. We understand that this is something we cannot control and have been patient of their noise and actions. Someone went a bit overboard last weekend however.
This past Friday October 4th around 2am, two young men wearing McGill sweaters got into a personal argument. In anger, one of the students punched my car mirror and kneed the car. right above the wheel I was up because my 6 1/2 month old baby had awoken. I was too scared to approach him. A homeless person told them it wasn’t cool and the student proceeded to remove his shirt and threatened to hurt them if they didn’t mind their own business. The two men walked away still in a quarrel.
I understand that this is not McGill, but if there is possibility to reimburse the damages made to my car by the McGill students it would be of great help to us, a young family already in a financially vulnerable situation.
I will try to blunge the dent in my car first before going to the shop, but the passenger mirror is completely ripped and would appreciate if you could cover the damages. If there is a possibility of you being able to also cover the dents it would be of great help.
I have a Red Honda Fit, 2014 - the passenger mirror is heated. I called Honda to get an estimation for the passenger mirror and it is 329.55$ + tax for the mirror and an additional 87.03$ + tax for the red cover...
I know this is an unusual circumstance, but know that if you can cover the costs of this it will be of great help to a young family, and seen as a token of understanding for all of the disturbances we have been patient about. "
