I’m currently working on an orchard in Kent, living on site in a cabin with 40 other people from all over the world and from different walks of life, one of the people I was fortunate to have meet was a girl named Jen, who is such a wonderful and talented person, who is strong and focused especially in her work, Jen has worked all over the world as a top pastry chef and had plans to work aboard before the COVID-19 pandemic ruined those plans, after getting to know her she revealed that she was an expectant mother, a child that she had not planned for and that the father subsequently had no real Interest in being around for her or the baby, Jen now faces being homeless when our time at the farm ends, so i decided to create this gofundme campaign for her, so she can fine herself on her feet and not worry about what she now see’s as a extremely difficult road ahead, with very little support or options available to her, the campaign is for £3,000, this will provide a roof over her head in a rented private flat in an area of her choice, intensive one week driving lessons + test and hopefully stretch to a cheap but reliable car, to put her in a position to provide a safe environment and have independents for both her and her child, so if you can please help in anyway it will be highly appreciated, I’m not financially capable of funding the campaign fully, I will put £500 in the pot and hope the goodwill of others can get us to the target. Thank you for reading.
