Our mother and grandmother was our everything.
Veronica "Tykee" Brown Pray took her last breath the morning of January 30th, 2018, just 11 short days after her 66th birthday.
We couldn't have known this time last month, as we were planning and packing for our vacation cruise, a girls trip that you always wanted, that now we would be preparing for your home going services.
You taught us so many things in life, how to laugh, how to cry and heal, how to love, which only makes us regret that we did not discuss the inevitable.
Unfortunately you left no will, no life insurance, and no instructions for your final wishes.
We never could have known how expensive a funeral would be, until planning this one for you.
We shared our mother and grandmother with the world, the children who she cared for, the ministries in which she did outreach for the churches she attended and the helpless and homeless. Our mother touched the hearts of all she encountered and her light in the world will be truly missed.
