<div>Tragically, ICE detained two members of the family while they were on their way to work. They weren’t the targets of the stop, and no warrant was presented. One of them was actively going through the legal process when taken. Now, the wife is left alone with their three children—an 8-month-old baby, a 10-year-old, and a 13-year-old.

<div>To make matters worse, the two detained family members were sent to different states—one to Texas and the other to New Jersey. One of them has reported that in detention, he is only being given an apple and water to eat. It’s heartbreaking and inhumane.

<div>The wife is working two jobs to keep things going and care for her children, all while shouldering double attorney fees and preparing for bond in hopes the judge will grant it. This money will help cover legal costs, living expenses, and provide this family with the minimal dignity every human deserves during a time of crisis.
