Hiya, we are First year Film Production Students at the University of Winchester. This is our first major short movie being 5-7 minuets. Our names are Sam, Rebecca, Faith and Evelyn. We are looking for any help with our set and budget and will be so grateful for anything :)

Our Short Film follows a woman mid 20s called Maxine who had just won custody of her child after her divorce. Her ex husband being the gang leader Nicholas.

Infuriated by losing custody of his child Nicholas ends up kidnapping Maxine’s baby. Maxine knowing the where about of her child and husbands gang base, grabs an axe and a gun and enters at full force. Beating down all the gang members down in a massive fight with the music of ABBA playing in the background.

We aim to follow themes of Motherhood, aiming to answer a question of “would you kill for your child?”. Through this film we were heavily inspired by Tarantino movies like ‘kill bill’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’. Aiming for a comedic and heavily stylised movie.
