The headline in Politico calls the Wisconsin supreme court election, “the most important election nobody’s ever heard of.” The outcome of the February and April elections in Wisconsin will determine whether reproductive rights, voting rights, and environmental protections in the state are curtailed or expanded. The February primary will narrow the field of candidates from four to two. Whether the state is left to choose between two conservatives, two progressives, or one of each depends on who shows up to vote in what is historically an abysmally low-turnout election.
