Morris Family Lymphoma Fund

On August 15, 2017 my doctors diagnosed me with Stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma and gave me a 70% chance of being cured. From the beginning of July 2017 until Mid August I have undergone a series of tests and procedures at the UF Health Cancer center in Orlando Florida. Some of these procedures include multiple blood tests, a CAT scan, intravenous injection of radioactive dye with PET scan, non-surgical biopsy, surgical biopsy, bone marrow biopsy, and a surgery to place a port in my chest so doctors can administer medication directly through my heart. My recommended course of treatment is a 6 month regimen of chemotherapy administered every 2 weeks. I am on my 3rd round of chemotherapy treatment now so I'm fully aware of what future dosing is going to be like. Let me explain...I get treatment on a Friday and then I'm incapacitated until the following Thursday. The best way to describe it is like having the Flu for 5-6 days every other week, with a diminished immune system, and I have 4 and half more months to go.
I cannot return to work in my current state of health / treatment and now that I'm sick it's surprising to find out that my local union IATSE 835 has no short term disability options available and no light duty jobs either, so I'm left completely without a source of income. 
I am a single parent raising two boys on my own with no child support, Thomas (14) and Riley (12). I have spent all of my savings and borrowed from my retirement to make it this far. I have enough money to support my family another month but I am quickly approaching financial ruin. 
All donations will be used to keep my family in our home until I am able to return to work.
