I became a dialysis patient on July 31, 2015. I inherited a gene that caused my kidney tissue to scare and degenerate. Its called FSGS. After trying to stay working, it became clear that I would have to give up my career, at least until the transplant and subsequent healing.  I have 5 years 6 months on the UNOS Transplant list.
I am a patient at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix (480-342-1010, Patient ID#7954802). Because of my blood type (O+ RH-) my wait time is longer than normal. Some days are better than others.

I created this page to help ease the burden of finances for this operation which could reach in the 10's of thousands.  Once my Transplant operation is complete and the healing is well underway, I will be able to seek employment again. Full Speed Ahead....
