Children Meditation In schools

NEWS UPDATE: Hi everyone, the project has been changing along this months... since I'm aware that the amount would not be enough to make my dream come true (yet), I've felt the need to make some changes, so we can give small steps in the right direction.
First, In this last 2 months I've created a team (9 persons), that started to work hard on the project trying to do a re-alignment of what the aim could be.
Second, the project will work in a partnership with a Portuguese NGO that already works with teenagers, and the aim is to give meditation teachers training to all teachers, families and schools in Portugal, so they can do it with their children and students.
The main objective will be to provide meditation and socio-emotional learning courses that contribute to the integral development of children and young people.
The money will be used to:
- Cover all team expenses during the time that we are trying to get funds;
- To pay staff teacher training, so they can be prepared;
- Hire a company to help us elaborate funds applications;
- Acquire all kinds of necessary equipment;
- Marketing;
We will need the funds as soon as possible, however, we've set the deadline until the 2016 year-end in order to have the project running during 2017.
The project I develop in my school and the work as a volunteer, did grow in me a passion for helping children and young people to know themselves better and to believe that there is a place for them in the world, that they are special and unique, that they are important...
I honestly deep down in my heart, feel that helping children and young people is my life mission! A life project that will bring me a lot of happiness and fulfillment. In essence, I already feel that I contribute, at this point, for a better future, but I want to contribute more. There is nothing in the world comparable to when we come to see a gleam in the eyes of children and young people, when we feel that within them is born a hope and a better understanding of what they are and how they are.
For the same reason, and also for checking the improvements in behavior and life of children and young people when we give them the opportunity to have contact with them, with their feelings with the feelings of others, with their talents and gifts, it is extremely important for me to be able to develop this project that already has four years but I have not been able to proceed because of the lack of financial capacity.
I feel great gratitude and also that I am a privileged, to have the opportunity to know exactly what my life mission is, what I came here to do in this world ...
I feel great gratitude and also that I am a privileged, to have the opportunity to see flourish in front of me children and young people who will in a few years, can change the direction of our society, contribute to a better future, for a better world, more happy, more tolerant, more environmentally friendly...
