Refugees of Moria Documentary

My name's Fionn Macarthur. I'm a freelance filmmaker based in Ireland. I'm independently filming a documentary about the people at Moria Refugee camp, on the Greek island, Lesvos. I have spent one year documenting their stories.

The film presents first hand stories of the refugees who have been forced to flee their homes due to war and persecution only to end up living in dire conditions within Europe.

Currently I'm completing the filming for the observational documentary. My aim is to capture stories from refugees themselves, so people can see and understand the hardship these men, women, children and families are having to endure.

I need to raise some funds to help cover my living expenses and complete the one year of filming.

I would be grateful for any money contributed. It would go a long way. This project is something I feel passionate about working on and I'm putting  my heart and soul into it.

I want to thank my friends, family and anyone who has reached out and backed me along the way. I can't thank you guys enough, it really means the world. I'll be posting regular updates on the progress while I am here.

Above you can see a short music video I just produced that gives a flavour of the project.
