Late Tuesday night an electrical fire broke out at our beloved Morgan's Place.
While we are extremely thankful that the building was not occupied at the time, there is still an extensive amount of damage.
Morgan's Place will be not be operable for 3-4 months. I know that our family, like so many others will be answering the unanswerable questions to our children (probably multiple time a day!):
Why did this happen?
When will it be better?
When can go play again?
When can we see our friends?
How do our friends feel?
Our community relies on Morgan’s Place to help our extra ordinary special kiddos learn, explore, and navigate the world around them.
I think it's important now more than ever, for all the families in our community to come together to help support The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project, and Morgan's Place (and it's team) and all of Morgan's friends and family (all of us included). Although insurance is in place to rebuild, Kristen and Tonya still have to worry how to pay the mortgage and utilities, as well as deductibles and unexpected costs while closed. There will be a lot of work ahead, and prayers for them are always appreciated. Let's come together for our kids to show them what a community really is and how we all can help support one another! They have been there for me and my family, now its our turn to be there for them!! Every little bit helps!! Thank you in advance for your support.
