Morgan's Battle

Morgan is an 18 young lady who almost immediately after graduating high school about to start her journey to college, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Morgan graduated with honors from the IB program. Morgan has an older sister and a younger brother as well as a new niece whom she adores!! Morgan is a very soft spoken, tenderhaearted young lady who still has her whole life ahead of her. She receives chemo 3 times a week and also spinal chemo injections and periodic bone marrow biopsies which if you don't know are very painful. Morgan does all of this and 99% of the time refuses any kind of pain meds.Needless to say we are all devastated. Morgan is Canadian and NONE of the meds she has to take At home are covered. Her mother has taken time off of work to care for Morgan and with that comes more financial stress. Because Morgan turned 18 a week prior to diagnosis her mother is unable to get family time off she is forced to use sick time and only half pay and only for 15 weeks.
