Hi, everyone! As many of you now know, our mom had a single aneurysm rupture, which caused a large bleed in her brain. She was sent to Loma Linda Medical Center where the doctors took lots of tests to find out the severity of it. Unfortunately, it is very severe and she is very sick. She, however, is not in a coma -- just being heavily sedated so as not to put any more stress on her brain. Her surgery went as well as the doctors could expect, but she is far from being out of the woods. We are at the waiting stage, and she has a long road in front of her, so we definitely appreciate y'all's thoughts and prayers and would love for them to continue. We know our mother is loved by so many people; she is so very lovable, caring, sweet and has the biggest heart, and we all know she is a fighter and will fight hard to pull through this. We will try to keep y'all updated as we can, but ask for y'all's patience as our mother is our first and foremost concern. Please use the link below for updates on Mom's condition.The reson for this GoFundMe account is to get some assistance for Mom's many expenses that are piling up.
The most immediate need is for a high-back wheelchair so we can get Mom out of bed. The hospital does not have this type of chair.
The next pressing need is for funds to pay her regular expenses. Obviously, she is not able to work and so has no income to cover her expenses. This is going to be an ongoing need as she heals and then goes through the long process of rehabilitation.
Finally, there are obviously great medical expenses that will need to be handled.
