Moose Factory Grade 8 Trip

Last June, we spent 3 weeks in Moose Factory, located on the Moose Cree First Nation in northern Ontario. The trip was an extension of a connection between our high school, St. Clement's School, and Moose Factory. We spent most of our time with Kim Cheechoo, who creates amazing cultural opportunities for visitors and residents of Moose Factory island.

Through conversations with Kim, we decided to collaborate with her on a trip for the grade 8 class in Moose Factory. This trip would be an opportunity for the students to go out onto the land at one of Kim's campsites. 

To fundraise for this trip, we are inviting traditional healer Arlene Faries to speak at St. Clement's in early November.  We would be grateful for any contributions to the trip or to bringing Arlene to Toronto.
