Drive-in to the Reno Buddhist Center parking lot for an amazing Uzbekistan dining experience! You may take it to-go or dine on the temple’s relaxing, beautiful lawn! At our pop-up "pay what you can" community cafe.

October's unique dinner features an ancient recipe of rice, Veg or Lamb Plov (pilaf), onion & tomato salad (Achichuk) and fried honey cake (Chak Chak) for dessert. This incredible menu is prepared by chef Alexey and crew  do events for many of the Silk Road Communities in the West and Dinner for 250 people is normal for them!

Plov was specifically invented by the Great Chefs of Alexander the Great to feed his legions as they moved East on what became the Silk Road.  Fast forward to Buddhist times and you would find Plov a favorite food for pilgrims and travelers journeying from temple to temple between India, Gandara [Afghanistan], and China.  Now generally referred to as The Stans  [Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan] all the people of the lower steps enjoy a hearty Plov, and you can too!

Reservations & payment can be made on Go Fund Me.  Just note how many in your party.  Some people take away, some dine on the lawn or go to a park.
Get out and live [safely]!
