Hello Friends, Due to the CoronaVirus Pandemic, revenue at Mood Food and Los Compadres fell below half, and Mood Wiches was hit even harder.
As you know this is just the beginning. Mood 'Wiches is on the brink of having to close down until the State Lock Down is lifted. If this goes on for several months, this could mean the end for all three locations.
Our employees are working at about 30% of their regular hours and several had to be let go. The majority of our staff, including the ones let go, have spouses/partners who have also lost their jobs. Many do not have health insurance and cannot receive paid sick leave. We are running on a month-to-month budget. With bills continuing to come in and children's mouths to feed, some are in a desperate situation.
We turn to you for your goodwill during this trying time. Our staff is on the front lines, feeding our community and our delivery guys are going to homes where everyone is safe behind closed doors. Any amount of donation can have a great impact during this time of dire need.
