City Takers: Kenya Missions Trip

I have been serving with an Urban Missionary Ministry named “City Takers” for nearly 2 years now and God has done great things in this ministry, above and beyond anything that I could ever imagine. God has placed on my heart to use my gifts of Speaking, Drumming, and even Hip-Hop to show the Love of Christ to people through evangelism and outreach in the city of Atlanta. Seeing God use me to impact people’s lives for His glory has been humbling while at the same time truly a blessed experience. The best part of it all is that The Lord has said Atlanta is not City Takers’ only stop!
I have been given an amazing opportunity to serve God in Kenya Africa this August and use my gifts and talents to advance the Kingdom of God through mission projects, evangelical crusade style concerts and youth services. My prayer is that all the people we touch will come to know the transforming Love of Jesus Christ that I have experienced, and in doing that my life will be transformed as well.
I asked Him to use me in new ways and He answered with this opportunity! John 15:7(ESV) says, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." I decided to make myself available to whatever ways He would work through me. I am ready to step out of my comfort zone to do His will and positively influence lives.
Our trip will be from August 20th-30th. It’s only costing me $2,500 total to go. I believe God for that plus some! I am also writing to you to ask you if you will partner with me in this amazing opportunity in my life and equally if not more, amazing opportunity to spread the Love of Christ to those who are hurting and in need of God’s help. I ask that you help by investing into what God is doing!
Please give whatever you can as I need to raise most of the money ASAP in order to go. Thank you ahead of time for your financial support and your prayers.
