Monty's Medical Donations

Hi family & friends, as many of you know Monty has been in the Sanford Childrens Hospital room 1915 in Sioux Falls, SD since Mar 28 due to swallowing 4 chocolate chip size magnets located in different locations in his intestines then all 4 connected as a result burned holes and pinched his tubes causing many parts of his organs to malfunction.
Though the surgery on Wed was successful his recovery has not been improving like we expected. Monty is continuing I.V.'s to hydrate and take in vitamins & supplements for nutrition. His intestines, bladder, stomach, liver and pancreas are still not functioning as it should. A battery of tests are still being conducted and Doctors are working hard on more options for better prognosis.
As for now there are no signs of speedy recovery so he needs to stay in the hospital with 24 hr care until he is able to function on his own. Emily & I are taking turns being there every step of the way however our other 4 children still needs to continue their daily lives, school, activities etc.
We don't want to think about the expenses at times like these but we also realize that we must not ignore it as well. Yes we have insurance but as many of you know it does not cover 100% plus the high deductible. We ask anything will help no matter how small of a donation. We thank all of you that have sent us thoughts and prayers and want to thank any of you that continue to help our family of 7 out.
