Monty Dale Grooms

Monty Dale Grooms passed away on December 10th, 2020. He is survived by his wife Elena, whom he loved dearly. Monty was the hardest working man I ever met. He was tough as nails and he didn’t take any shit. We worked together running projects for DM Construction for 6 years and we became fast friends. He was a mentor to me then, and has continued to be in recent years. Monty always showed up for his friends and family. He showed up for me many times over.

Monty spent the last 7 years of his life fighting a seamlessly never-ending battle for his health. He was unbelievably resilient both physically and mentally, never letting it get to him. I wholeheartedly think that his work ethic and love for Elena kept him going. Monty had known that he may not make it, and so he did everything he could to ensure that his wife Elena was taken care of after he was gone. Unfortunately, he became too sick to continue his mission. If you knew Monty, and would like to donate or say something, we would love to hear from you.
