***We'd like to thank everyone who supported this cause! Over a dozen Montana musicians have benefited from the generosity of people who care care about live music in our state. This fundraiser will come to a close on August 1st, and the remainder of funds that have not been claimed by musicians will be donated to a Montana-based arts nonprofit***
COVID-19 has decimated the live music industry in Montana, and our beloved musicians are at a near complete loss of work.
The Montana Music Relief Fund is raising money to give directly to musicians who are in financial need. For them, every cancelled gig means a bill that can't get paid, a doctor's appointment that gets passed over, or less food for their family.
Montanans love their musicians. On any given Friday night you can hear an incredible performer at a bar or restaurant at little or no cover charge. These talented men and women define the culture and nightlife of our state, bring us so much joy, and they now need your help more than ever.
EVERY dollar helps. Even a $5 donation (what you would've spent on the cover charge at the Great Norther Bar in Whitefish this weekend) will go a long way, and if we ALL pitch in, we can help bridge the gap for these musicians who need all the help they can get right now.
