Monitors for Educators

Hi,  My name is Deborah Eikenberg. I am a special education paraeducator in Howard County, Maryland.

Virtual teaching is hard for many reasons, not the least of which is the lack of proper technology. The ability for educators to have two screens to use during instruction is game changing. You can now see your students and the information you are teaching at the same time! You can also do administrative duties while still interacting with your students as you would in a classroom. The uses for a second monitor are endless!

I have started collecting donated monitors to redistribute to educators. The generosity is humbling. However there are still some supplies that need to be purchased to make this successful. Those include power cords too replace those that are lost, adapters to make the monitors we have work with the devices that are issued through the school system, and in some case a stand to make a previously mounted monitor usable.  We will also run out of donated monitors and would welcome the opportunity to purchase monitors for those who have not yet received help. This is course all takes money.

Any money you can donate will be helping to change a teacher's, and their students, virtual learning experience for the better!

Thank you for your consideration!
