Monir Education and Vehicle Fund

On Tuesday August 15, 2017 my friend Ryan Keller took his own life.  Ryan lived out his life to help and serve others.  He did this in many ways throughout his life.  He served his church while in high school. He served the youth and families at First Presbyterian Church while in college. He gave his time and energy to Camp Vesper Point during summers and through the off season working out in God’s creation. He gave his time and gifts to troubled youth through Outward Bound in Florida and North Carolina. He gave his time to his community in East Chattanooga and finally he opened his house and his life to Monir, a Sudanese Refugee.

Over the past year and a half Ryan helped Monir settle in America after leaving his home and family in Sudan. Ryan helped Monir get a job and begin to learn English. Monir’s dream is to get his CDL license and be a long haul driver. Before his death, Ryan helped Monir get a small older model Honda to get to and from work.

There are two needs that I would like to invite you to give as Ryan did:

Repairs to Monir’s Vehicle
Chattanooga School of Language
These two items will both be a blessing to Monir and give him the ability to work toward his goal of getting his CDL.

Thank you for your gifts to Monir and your prayers as well.
