Monique needs a new car

Short version: Monique's car needs repairs that will likely cost more than the value of the car. She'd saved up money for a new car, but with Ryan's sickness and the added expenses that have arisen from it, that savings has been greatly diminished.

Long version: Where to begin? I've been friends with Ryan for around 25 years. He's one of my favorite people to hang out with. Last year he was diagnosed with cancer in his esophagus, and has been fighting hard ever since. It has, unfortunately, spread pretty aggressively. Last weekend he was sent to a hospice center an hour away in Mt. Joy, PA because he was in a lot of pain and needed to get his medications sorted out. He has been given multiple release dates, but they keep telling him he'll need to stay for a few more days. 

Meanwhile, Monique's car has decided that it needs transmission work that would likely cost more than the 17 year old car itself. She'd saved a couple thousand dollars for a new car, but the added expense of driving the hour to visit Ryan with the girls frequently, along with all of the extra daycare days with Ryan not able to watch the girls while she runs her bakery have put a big dent in that money.

So I would like to make this opportunity available to Ryan and Monique's friends to bless them with a big downpayment on a new vehicle. The ideal car would be a mid size used SUV with low miles.
