Update from Monique's friend this morning... Gm...This is O I kno it’s been a min since I updated everyone on Jessica conditions.... it’s just been a trying 24 hrs So today we have to move to another room that is capable of monitoring 24hr brain activity.... We are doing this because Jessica is having a couple of episodes of abnormal activity like tremors or seizure like episodes.. She had a MRI last night(Still waiting on response from that) Now they need to monitor brain activity to catch these events and see what’s going on in the brain during these episodes... Besides that she is making some progress (Getting up, Sitting up talking, eating Still dealing with head pain and pressure. She wanted me to tell you all Thank You for all the prayers and well wishes and support! #1dayatatime #strongertogether #youcancallnotvisit #prayerchangesthings I am starting this fundraiser for my friend Monique Johnson.  She will undergo surgery soon and will need money to take care of her and her son while she is out of work.  Here is her story.... In November 2019 I became really ill at work with what seemed like a really bad common cold but it ended up being a severe case of strep throat. With the high fevers I passed out and began having seizure like activities. I was sent from the ER to have a CT Scan monitored a little more and sent home. My PCP called me about the CT and asked if I was ok with having a MRI done bc the CT didn’t show her what she was trying to see. Once I completed the MRI a few days later I received a long msg from my doctor telling me a tumor was found on my brain and she was referring me to a Neurosurgeon immediately for future testing and monitoring. Fast forward to today the tumor is benign but bc of where it sits it could case me to lose my vision and it can affect my hormonal system. Surgery is set for 10/20 to remove the tumor and recovery is roughly 12-14 weeks.
