Moni fights cancer!

Namrata Singh, known to many as Moni or Didi, is a true inspiration and the most genuine and kind-hearted woman you will ever meet. Those that are priveleged enough to be friends with Moni know that she would do anything for them. She will go to the ends of the earth for you without question just to be there for you and with you. Moni brings people together and she brings out the best in every person.

On September 26, Moni wasn't feeling well while on a family trip and she was admitted to Good Shepherd Hospital in Chicago. After hours of repeated blood tests, transfusions, pokes, prods, pain, and confusion the doctor's confirmed the diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia, a form rarely seen in young adults like Moni. 
 
Moni is an incredibly strong and proud woman and today she did something that not many people have ever witnessed...she asked for help. She reached out and she said that she needs us. She needs all of us to be there for her and to take on some of the burden. Moni asked me to set up this GoFundMe page for her to help with the costs of her treatments. If each one of you that are reading this can take up a bit of the financial burden, it will allow Moni to focus all of her energy on fighting the cancer and getting better instead of the added stress of having to think about how to pay her hospital bills. Together we can all make a difference. And right now, this is what Moni needs from us. So I ask all of you to please, please give something. Be the light and hope that Moni needs right now.
