Monic's Cancer Treatment Not on PBS

Her Journey began begining of 2016 when diagnosed with breast cancer, it was a situation no one ever thinks they will have to face but after the year and a half of stress and trauma she had faced with fighting a harassment case against her work and family trauma something was going to give at some stage. After her diagnosis she had a double mesectomy and seemed to recovery without to many issues ,approximately 4 months later in late May 2016 she was rushed to hospital with severe adominal pains and after many tests was told she had stage 4B cervical cancer with mestatic lymph lung and spinal involvement. Her prognosis was terminal with maybe a year if extreme chemo and radiation was given.
After weighing up the horrific side effects and being advised that this will only provide her a possible 2 month extension of life. She decided it would be better to find alternitive treatment. She came across a friend who had had succesful treatment in Germany using Hyperthermia and low dose chemo. Monic and Lorenzo her husband thought this was a viable option and funds where sourced after the sale of their family home and possessions and may at least give her a little more time to spend comfortabley with her children and family after her return she had a great test result a reduction of 35% but unfortunatley within 6 months it had metastised further. She tried to continue with the same dose of chemo here in Australia to try and hold it of a little longer but the chemo hospitilized her every time as her body was just to weak to cope with it.
She was then informed by her oncologist about immunotherapy which is still in trial and was having great success with cervical cancer. She sourced a trial in Melbourne but was told she couldnt take part as they only excepted people who hadnt had more than one form of cancer so her only option now is to use the immunotherapy which would be funded at a cost of 5000 a treatment every 3 weeks at her own expence. this would be capped at 60,000 by the medical company if results are benifical and show reductions in her tumors. Unfortunatley their funds are deminishing rapidly she is unable to work they are renting and have had to relocate 3 times. Lorenzo is currently caring for her and finds it difficult to cover weekly expenses for them all. They are unable to move forward with the treatment and struggle everyday emotionally spiritaully and financially.
They need to begin treatment ASAP as she has already outlived diagnosis and is fighting everyday to keep the cancer undercontrol.
Being able to have treatment will give her and the family a little bit of hope and joy spending neccessary time to help them all.
Please if you can help my best friend her children and partner with funding for her treatment regardless of how small of a donation every little bit will help.
If anyone has had the unfortunate experience in dealing with this type of Cancer or simular or knows anyone that has or is currently going through the same situation and is having success using alternative therapies or knows of any clinical trials that would incorperate the use of Immunotherapy which would assist my friend this information would be of great assistance and as valuable as a donation.
