On Monday March 17th, Monica Chavez suddenly passed away in her sleep at her home in Brookshire, Texas. She was just 56 years old. She was a dedicated wife to Felipe Chavez and mother of four grown children (Jamil, Trisha, Michelle and Daniel). Later in life Monica was diagnosed with Diabetes and all of the family income was used to pay primary household bills and medical expenses. The family had no money left to secure life insurance and clearly no funds available for this unexpected loss.
I am starting this fundraiser to help a family during a significant time of need. They are completely devastated, shocked and heart broken. It is my hope that we can help Felipe, her husband of 38 years, with some of the immediate funeral expenses and the significant financial adjustment that comes with losing a spouses income.
