Jacob Monceaux Relief Fund

If you are from the Bridge City area chances are you know Jacob Monceaux. If not, you can find him at any Bridge City sporting event. In 2012, Jacob was named “BC Cardinals Biggest Fan” by the Penny Record and he means so much to the community and the kids that he loves to cheer for.

Like much of Bridge City, Jacob has been devastated by a hurricane for a second time. Jacob had his home flooded and lost many of his belongings. He lost things including furniture, clothes and his lawn mower, which he depends on for making extra money. Jacob unfortunately does not have flood insurance so he is currently in a bind.

My name is Lance Polk, also from BC, Class of '99.  I grew up across the street from Jacob and have known him my entire life. He has helped me more times than I can count and has no idea that I am doing this. The least I could do is help collect money so that I can take Jacob to get him a new mower.  With the money that is donated I plan to withdrawal the funds, and take Jacob shopping for the items that he needs the most.  I hope to be able to provide him with a new mower and if possible couch, recliner, bed and clothes.  I am not sure what all he lost but whatever cash is left from this will be given to Jacob. 

I would love to be able to provide Jacob with so much more because he would do the same for anyone else in our community. I know that everyone is in the same situation. If you can spare any amount, great or small, it would mean the world to him.
