Jasper's Monarch Mission

Hi, my name is Jasper White. I am 13 years old and I live in Water's Falls, ON. My science fair project, The Great Monarch Mission, received a gold medal and 2 design awards at the Simcoe County Regional Science Fair and was chosen to be on the Canada-wide Science Fair (CWSF) team. I need to raise $2000 to pay for my participation fee. This will allow me to go to the CWSF in Ottawa on May 12-18, 2018, where I will compete against other kids my age from all over Canada.

The Monarch butterflies are not doing well because their only food source, milkweed plants, are being wiped out by pesticides. My project is about increasing the Monarch population by spreading milkweed seeds all over the place! I designed several different milkweed "seed bombs" and a Grow-A-Polt: a device to launch them out into nature.
