My name is Cynthia Helms Price. Many of you know me from Lewis Funeral Homes, in our Santa Rosa County area. I have worked with Steve McCall (wife Ramona "Mona" McCall) for many years.
As many of you know, Steve and Ramona McCall have been very ill with Covid-19 for over a month. While Steve was able to leave the hospital and start to recuperate, Mona had to stay for many weeks. This past Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Mona received her ultimate healing, and was called Home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Oh what Joy, Jubilation, Shouting, Singing and Hugging, there must have been!!! Mona was reunited with her family and friends who had gone before her, but Most of all, MONA RAN INTO THE ARMS OF OUR LORD!!!
Because of this horrible illness, and time in the hospital, Mona and Steve have been left with unbelievable Medical Expenses and Funeral Expenses that now Steve is having to deal with. The illness of Covid 19, is in itself, more pain and stress than many can handle. With hospital , doctor and medicine expenses, It has really taken a toll on this family.
Mona and Steve have been a mainstay in our community. They have been there for SO VERY MANY of us, through many unimaginable times and things. They have Served our Lord, and have Served their church and community faithfully, and diligently. There's not a time, I would venture to say, that if you needed ANYTHING, and you called Mona, she got it for you or either knew of a way to get it, or who to get it from. Most of the time, she knew about it before you even asked!!!!!! Mona "GOT THINGS DONE!!"
It's now time for all of us to "GET IT DONE" for Mona and Steve. This fund is being set up for Steve, to help him get through this time and to help with the Major Medical Expenses and Funeral Expenses that he must burden. There is such stress at a time like this, and I believe that we, Their Community, and Their Friends, can reach deep down and help ease this burden.
Please take a moment if you are able and willing, and Donate what you can, to help this very Giving couple. It will be set up for atleast 30 days, to give everyone a chance to donate.
