Help Mom keep her house/Med bills

My mother, Barbara Stewart, lost her husband of 53 years on 8/15/2017. She spent the last 17 years taking care of him, due to his declining health. My dad, Bill Stewart, was her entire world. He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran who served 27 months in Vietnam. He was the sole provider for her, he handled all of their financial responsibilties. He didn't have any life insurance, so she has no way of paying for her home and other daily expenses. She does get a small social security check, but that really isn't going to cover much. I am trying to make her life as easy and burden free as possible. She is devastated by her loss and the last thing I want her to think about is how she is going to afford to live a normal life after losing my dad. If she can't keep her home, I am going to try to have a bedroom added on to my home so she can live with me and my family. I can't afford to pay for her home or the addition to my home. I am still heartbroken from the loss of my dad, but I can't allow my mom to try to handle this situation on her own. My wife and I have decent paying jobs, but like so many people, our bills and expenses take up the majority of our pay checks. Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated and know that your contribution will help relieve a great burden to a woman who spent her entire life caring for the man she so dearly loved.
