Moms helping Kirby

Huggers, we have been contacted by someone in the Holly Springs area that could use some help and support. We are looking to raise money for Kirby to purchase a vehicle. They have/had insurance, before they turned the vehicle back over to the parents. So they can pay for that themselves. Kirby is doing all they can, and not asking for much. If we can all chip in a bit, it should be quick and easy without being a burden on any one person. Let's do what we do best. Reach out, Help out and Show Love to all.

I am copying their message to the page below.

"Hello Free mom Hugs! I wanted to reach out to you to see if there was a place we can reach out too if we are seeking help from the community? My younger sister Hope came out to our mother over a year ago about her transgender boyfriend. I, being non-binary and pansexual, was super happy and supportive of my sister. Our mother didn’t handle it well and proceeded to abuse my sister daily. She was grounded and isolated for over a year. COVID happened in March and she was stuck in the house. I don’t have much but I would do everything to support her. My sister turned 18 in may 2020 and ran away two months later. She’s been taken in by her boyfriends wonderful family and they have done everything they can to support us so far. They also have several children of their own but have homed, fed, and helped clothe my sister. She’s in high school still finishing out her senior year.

Our mother was stalking my sister this week and the police had to be involved. My sister is pressing a restraining order again our mother. We have to show up in court on the 26th. because of my support for Hope and for calling my mother out on her abuse, they are taking away the vehicle I drive. The vehicle I drive is my parents car. Their name is on the loan and title so it’s their property. They are leaving me without a way to feed my horse, work my second job which is delivery, or have a means to get around. I pick up my sister once a week from her dance. In the event there are emergencies or she has issues with our ex parents I am left with no way to reach her.

My new mom, the mother of the family who adopted and took my sister in, told me about free mom hugs N.C. when we first started having issues with our family to help connect us to a community of people who wouldn’t turn us away for our gender identity or who we loved. To help us bring people into our lives because losing your parents has been devastating. We have a father too but he’s being so manipulated and abused by our mother that he hasn’t been help to us. He’s left us out in the cold. It’s hard to cope with. My sister and I were adopted and chosen by these people and they’ve tossed us into the trash because we support trans people and choose to love who we love. It’s been a very difficult time. i don’t have anyone I can turn too and unfortunately the people who are here to support me have their hands full as well. I didn’t know if there was any support or temporary help I could get from the community. I am working hard to get a vehicle or a spare to use until I can secure my own. I have no savings and little credit. "

If you can donate a little or a lot. Share this with everyone you can and let's get this family closer to where they need to be.
