Mom's Car T-cell Therapy

It's always hard to ask for help, but I feel like we are running out of options. My mom has been fighting this cancer for roughly 2 years. First time it went away after 2 months, then came back in a different place. This time she has tried multiple different combinations of chemo and we thought she was finally in remission, she went down to Houston to have a bone marrow transplant, to  make sure all the cancer was gone. While doing the testing they found more cancer in her sacrum and possibly lungs. The cancer is pretty agressive at this point. So that put the bone marrow transplant on hold. They put her on a list for a clinical trial called Car T-cell Therapy. Her DR said all his patients that have been in this trial have gone into remission with the exception of one, who had lymphoma for 20 years. We were hopeful this was the ticket! She found out yesterday insurance denied the request because they don't pay for clinical trials. So this moved her down on the list for the therapy.  The hospital stay and pre-testing is what she will be required to pay out of pocket. I'm sure a goal of $500,000 may be unatainable, but I can't sit by and let this cancer possibly take my mom from my family and I. She has 5 grandkid, 3 kids, a husband and mother. I still need her!!
