<div>Seit acht Jahren gibt es Moment mal! schon. Entstanden ist die Wiesbadener Initiative aus einem Freundeskreis aus verschiedenen Ecken der Stadtgesellschaft, die sich  zusammengefunden hat mit einem Ziel: der wachsenden AfD-Präsenz und rechtsextremen Netzwerken etwas entgegenzusetzen.

<div>Seitdem hat Moment mal! in Wiesbaden ehrenamtlich

<li>über 30 Veranstaltungen mit je 100 - 400 Besucher:innen organisiert,

<li>fast 100 Videos produziert, die insgesamt von über 120.000 angesehen wurden,
</li>
<li>mit vielen namhaften Referent:innen zusammengearbeitet wie Samuel Salzborg, Mattias Quent, Marcus Bensmann, Volker Weiß, Pia Lamberty, Johannes Hillje, Andreas Speit u.a.

<div>Unsere Abende sind <strong>Orte der Aufklärung und Diskussion, Begegnungsräume und Krafttankstellen</strong> zugleich. Sie zeigen: Wir sind viele, und wir bleiben hörbar - auch, wenn der Wind kälter wird.

<div>Für <strong>unsere Veranstaltungsreihe und Kampagne defend democracy!</strong> kooperieren wir mit dem <strong>Kulturzentrum Schlachthof</strong>. Der Eintritt bleibt frei, weil wir wollen, dass alle dabei sein können. Aber: Honorare, Technik, Plakate, Videoarbeit, all das kostet pro Veranstaltung mehrere tausend Euro. Oft werden wir vom Bundesprogramm Demokratie leben!

<div>unterstützt, doch die Förderung deckt längst nicht mehr alles ab. Und manche Themen fallen komplett durchs Raster - Stichwort Neutralitätsgebot.

<div><strong>Wir wollen mit unserer Kampagne defend democracy! auch in 2026 unbedingt sichtbar bleiben. Ihr könnt viel dazu beitragen, uns das zu ermöglichen. </strong>Vor allem hilft uns eure Spende, <strong>unsere Unabhängigkeit</strong> zu behalten. Damit wir unseren<strong> demokratischen und antifaschistischen Werten</strong> auch in schwierigen Zeiten treu bleiben können.
