Mom's battle with Covid-19!

77... that is how many days loving mother and wife, Peggy Escritt, spent in the hospital battling Covid-19. 30 of those days were spent on a ventilator in ICU fighting for her life.
Her story has a happy ending because she won the fight that so many have lost, but her health deteriorated dramatically as a result. Besides heart and severe lung damage, the doctor's had to do a tracheostomy in an effort to get her off the vent. What they hoped would be a temporary fix to help her breathe and her lungs heal has turned more permanent since her vocal cords were paralyzed by the ventilator. After 2 & 1/2 months she finally made it home from the hospital last week and is learning how to walk and live life day-to-day but needs lots of help.
Even with insurance, prescriptions, doctor's visits, and medical expenses are more than they can handle. This fundraiser is being set up in the hopes of helping to cover some of the costs of her medical expenses, especially her prescriptions which cost about $700 each month and she must continue to take. We would be incredibly grateful for any support that you might be able to offer.
