Mom & Mitchell Kidney Recovery

Hi All,

My name is Jessica and I am the oldest sister of Mitchell. My mom, Cathy, was recently approved to donate her kidney to my brother who has now been on dialysis for almost a year due to kidney failure. This is slated to happen within the next month.

Their home is a single income household and the recovery for transplant/donation can take up to 6-8 weeks. This is also complicated by the fact that my brother's heart is very weak and there is some concern on how it will handle the surgery.

I am asking my friends, my family, our community and strangers if you can help whether it be a donation, a meal, chores, cleaning, etc so that both my mom and Mitchell can focus on rest and recovery without the worry of bills that don't stop and housework that will undoubtedly pile up.
