Mom Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer

This morning,  we received some devestating news.  My mom who is only 63 years old was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  It is a rare cancer referred to as peritoneal carcinomatosis.  Traditional chemotherapy is not expected to help as previous chemotherapy is thought to be a leading cause of this rare cancer.  My mom has previously had cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and breast cancer and she had chemotherapy twice before to get rid of these cancers. She has been cancer-free for 20 years until the diagnosis this morning. I will be taking my mom to a Cancer Clinic out of state that specializes in terminal cancers.  They incorporate the newest technology along with homeopathic treatments not covered by standard medical insurance. I will be paying out-of-pocket for the expenses which will range from $1000 to $3,000 each treatment.  She is expected to need 6 treatments a week for 6 weeks.  I will be leaving my husband to run the business on his own while I am out of state with my mom.  During this time, my mom will have to leave work as well and I know she is worried about her bills.  I  am creating this account so that friends and family will be able to donate and contribute to her recovery.  These funds would be used to help fund the cost of her specialized medical treatment and to also help her take care of some of her personal expenses while in treatment. The center that we will be going to appears to be extremely promising at her being able to walk away cancer free (God willing).  This news is devastating but I'm hopeful that everything will work out.  Thank you.  We appreciate you and anything you can do to help.
